Enrollment at Apple Tree Academy

At Apple Tree Academy, we understand that choosing the right childcare center is a significant decision for your family. We strive to make the enrollment process seamless and transparent, ensuring a smooth transition for both parents and children.

 

Availability of Care

 Enrollment at Apple Tree Academy is subject to availability. Families interested in our programs may be placed on a waitlist if we do not currently have openings. To secure a spot on the waitlist, completion of the enrollment form and a deposit are required.

 

Admission Process

 Our admission process is designed to provide families with a comprehensive understanding of our center and its policies. Key steps include:

  1. Family Handbook: Upon touring the center, each parent/guardian will receive a comprehensive Family Handbook outlining our policies and procedures.
  2. Discussion with Director: The parent and director will engage in a discussion to determine a potential start date for your child.
  3. Completion of Forms: Parents must complete and sign various enrollment forms, including:
    • Apple Tree Academy Enrollment
    • Disaster/Emergency
    • CACFP (Child and Adult Food Program)
    • Special Needs
    • Assessment/Photo
    • Field Trip Emergency
  4. Medical Requirements:
    • Signed medical form for each child.
    • Copy of current and updated immunizations as per CDC and Missouri Immunization Schedule guidelines.

 

Tuition Structure and Policies

Our tuition structure is based on full-time care, covering absences due to illness and vacation. Apple Tree Academy does not offer part-time care (i.e., less than 5 days per week). Payment can be made through cash, check, or money order.

 

Other Fees

  • Field trip fees and other charges will be communicated through calendars. Participation in scheduled activities is contingent upon payment in advance.
  • Registration/Supplies Fee: An initial fee of $25.00 is collected at the time of application for each child’s admittance.
  • Late Payments: A late fee of $40.00 is assessed for payments delinquent beyond ten (10) days from the agreed-upon date.
  • Late Pick-Up: Apple Tree Academy closes at 5:30 pm daily. A fee of $1.00 per minute per child will be charged for late pick-ups after 5:30 pm.

 

Special Tuition Programs and Contracts

  • DSS Funding: Families with DSS funding must pay the co-pay on or before the tenth (10th) day of each month. Changes in DSS authorizations should be promptly communicated to Apple Tree Academy.
  • Foster Care: Apple Tree Academy welcomes foster children without charging a co-pay. Field trip fees are optional for foster parents, and foster children will remain at the center during field trips unless fees are voluntarily paid.
